Bestest Birthday Ever

My oldest daughter turned 12 on June 13th, and we decided to have her party on June 11th, which also happened to be the *delicious* last day of school.  She invited a fantastic group of girls, and I can honestly say, with a touch of surprise, that I had a blast with them.  The girls were picked up by limo at school,

and we took them to Red Robin for lunch, then to the mall for a scavenger hunt, and then for an aimless cruise around town to giggle and do some people watching.

Later, the girls were invited to a local TV station to watch a live news broadcast and tape their own mock broadcast.  All the girls were great!  They all had a great time and will have DVD's to remember their fun.
